Can currency notes in Indian Rupees or US Dollars be sent in envelopes Via Traditional Mail?

I read in an article on the net that if I sent 1 US Dollar bill to 6 members of a money making scheme, placed in an envelope, thru snail mail I can earn thousands of Dollars. Just want to chek if sending currency bills in envelopes is allowed by the The Postal Depts. of India, USA and other countriesCan currency notes in Indian Rupees or US Dollars be sent in envelopes Via Traditional Mail?
It's allowed but if you really think you'll get thousands you're seriously deluded.
sending currency notes of any denomination or of any country by post or courier will invite criminal prosecution.

Only Cheques or DD is the official mode of remittance from one country to another. Can currency notes in Indian Rupees or US Dollars be sent in envelopes Via Traditional Mail?
It's perfectly legal but if you expect to make money by forwarding a chain letter I'd suggest you just burn the dollar bill and save the price of a stamp.
Sending currency by post or courier in India is illegal %26amp; you may be in trouble if catch ed for the same. Can currency notes in Indian Rupees or US Dollars be sent in envelopes Via Traditional Mail?
I don't believe its quite legal to do so. Also, your money may not be safe as if someone sees the note inside they might be tempted to steal it.
It is illegal. Alwyas remember that there are no short cuts to make money.

good luck
