Would the postal service mail a DVD if i just put an address on it?

I live in NY and i want to mail a DVD to my brother that lives in TN.But i don't have any envelopes for it,+ i was also wondering how many stamps do you think it would require?Thanks.It's in the plastic case.Would the postal service mail a DVD if i just put an address on it?
Probably should take it to a post office and have them tell you. I'm sure they will recommend putting in better packaging. Would the postal service mail a DVD if i just put an address on it?
I don't see why not. But I don't recommend it. It's kind of obvious what it is, so someone could easily take it.
